In 2010, Lorena and Eduardo Vázquez founded Loly in the sky. The idea came from a desire to offer unique, comfortable and quality shoes, that would make the woman who wore them, feel very special.
Loly in the sky shoes are made in León, Guanajuato, a mexican city that is best known as "the shoe capital". The shoes are designed by Lorena, who first studied Fashion Design at the Marangoni Institute in Milan and later did a Masters in Accessories Design at Barcelona.
All the brand´s shoes are hand-crafted from Mexican materials. Something to note is that they do not use any material that involves animal cruelty and their insoles are washable. Moreover, they are treated with ultra-fresh bacterial, a substance that inhibits the growth of fungi, and of course, bacteria.
What I love about Loly in the sky´s style is its girlie, playful and quirky vibe....It reminds me of Alexa Chung or Zooey Deschanel.
I love them all, but I have three favorites: the ones inspired in a smoking, the pink ones that say OMG Cake, and the ones with the black ribbon laces. Which ones do you like?
